The Junior Merchandiser will support the Collection Merchandiser in the definition of the product offer and price targets of the collection, accordingly to the brand strategy, with particular focus on Retail Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate in the definition of seasonal merchandising plan, both numerical & qualitative;
• Work closely with the designers, the product development, the visual merchandising and the supply chain teams;
• Work on all stages of pre-editing and editing of collection;
• Support during the pricing activities;
• Implement the retail merchandising strategy;
• Set up the buying for the retail network;
• Manage the budgets ensuring an effective allocation of resources;
• Conduct analysis (sell-in, sell-out, stock, etc.) and prepare reports for the management in order to identify required actions based on data insights
• Be updated about competitors’ product offer and strategy;
• Contribute to the preparation of product training materials to present the buying strategy and the collection to the store staff;
• Follow up markets and areas’ needs for the channels both direct and wholesale;

Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Economics or Engineering
• 2y experience in Retail Buying and Merchandising
• Strong analytical skills combined with an excellent understanding of the fashion dynamics
• Passion for the fashion industry
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of Office Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in both Italian and English
